We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate and Senior Project Engineers. At Swift Engineering our Project Engineers need to still be highly technical as they manage the front-end engineering design stage through to detailed engineering and construction for oil and gas projects. Successful candidates will require a dynamic skill set including assertive communication, high competency and excellent project management skills. We are looking for exceptional individuals with eagerness, technical know how and a professional attitude to champion a wide variety of projects from simple well tie-ins to more complex oil and gas process facilities.

ØMaintain critical project information, drawings, files, spreadsheets and records.
ØAccountable for the development of Plot Plans, Pits, Route Maps, General Arrangement Drawings, etc.
ØHold design reviews with other disciplines to review technical issues and provide input into operability and constructability.
ØInt/Sr. knowledge in creating and developing numerous pieces of documentation including Land Information Packages, Design Basis Memorandums, Construction Scope of Work, Construction Binders, Project Charters and Procurement Requisitions.
ØCost Estimating, scheduling, progress tracking and reporting.
ØProject Manage deliverables at all phases of project ensuring accuracy and adherence to Swift Engineering’s standards.
ØConstruction Bidding, Evaluation and Awarding
ØSite Visits as required for Initial Scoping, Scope Freeze Meetings and Construction Review Meetings.
ØMentor, develop and lead Junior Engineers.

ØMust have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Process Engineering, as recognized by APEGA, with a minimum of 5+ Intermediate/10+ years for Senior progressive experience including oil batteries, pipelines, facilities, compression etc.
ØWell tie in experience is a necessity.
ØPMP an asset
ØHighly organized, on top of email communications and have your pulse on the project.
ØConscious promotion of Swift Engineering to clients, vendors and prospects.
ØAdvanced English written and oral communication skills
ØStrong Software Computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
ØExcellent interpersonal, mentor, negotiation and leadership skills
ØA Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards ASME B31.3 and CSA Z662 design codes.
ØRecent Industry experience within Western Canada with a small to medium sized EPCM company.
ØMust have valid Alberta Drivers License.
